Martha Besch, age 26, of Joliet and formerly of Plainfield and South Haven, MI, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Ascension Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.
Born June 26, 1996 in Joliet, Martha Elyse is the daughter of James Besch, Sr. and Anita (nee Gray) Besch. She was raised and educated in Plainfield and graduated from Plainfield Central High School with the Class of 2014. After graduation, Marti worked as a Beautician at Colorific in Plainfield, a Baker at the Gourmet Pretzel Shop and Compassionate Angels, both in South Haven, Michigan, and Door Dasher throughout Joliet area. She enjoyed helping others and spending time at Lake Michigan watching the sunsets as well as hula hooping, fire dancing on the beach and attending Electronic Music Festivals with her closest friends.
Survivors include her Mother: Anita (Gray) Besch of Joliet; Father: James Besch, Sr. of Naperville; Aunts: Mary Gray of Darien and Dorothy (Tony) Bader of Mason, Michigan; paternal Grandmother: Roberta Besch of Naperville; and Cousin: Arianna Besch of Alabama; as well as numerous close friends.
Marti was preceded in death by her Brother: Jim Besch Jr; maternal Grandparents: James and Kathleen Gray; paternal Grandfather: Jerry (Jackie) Besch; Uncles: Charlie Gray and Anthony Besch; Aunt: Robin Scullin, and Cousins: Anthony Jacobson and Jeremy Bader.
At this time, the family will celebrate her life privately. Cremation Rites will be provided by Genuine Care Cremation in Shorewood.
