Earl Crockett Montgomery III

Earl Crockett Montgomery III, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023.

Earl is survived by his children, Mary Lee Sasser, Margaret (Bob) Basile and Michael (Kristin) Montgomery; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Linda (Craig) Lee; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, his father, Earl Sr. and his mother, Mildred Piper Montgomery.

Earl was a proud veteran, serving in United States Marine Corps. He was a butcher and a salesman throughout the Joliet and New Lenox areas for decades. After working as a butcher, Earl went on to become an OSHA Safety Officer for over 10 years. He will be missed dearly by all that knew him.

Per Earl’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded and no services will be held.
