Donna Rae Walsh

October 23, 1941 — September 1, 2025

Donna Rae Walsh (nee Surges), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025, at the age of 83.

Born to William Surges and Sylvia (Mandel) Surges, Donna grew up surrounded by a large and loving family. She later married the love of her life, Ronald Walsh, with whom she shared 60 wonderful years of marriage before his passing.

She is survived by her daughters, Nicole (Paul) Stewart and Kristine (Curtis) Roberts; her cherished grandchildren Nathan (Avery), Kathryn, and Jennifer Stewart, as well as April (Matt) Owens and great-grandson Asher; and grandson Alva Roberts. She is also survived by her siblings Kathy Pagonis, Linda (Pean) Orasco, Sharon (Rick) Alexander, and Dennis (Sue) Surges, and by many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ronald, and her sister Denise McRaven.

Family was always at the center of Donna’s life. She loved to laugh, read, and spend time surrounded by those she cared about most. Her easygoing nature and joyful spirit will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in her honor.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with a chapel service at Woodlawn Memorial Park and a luncheon will follow at Cemeno's at 1:00 p.m.
