About Us

Genuine Care Cremation is located within the Park Place Plaza of Shorewood. We are partnered with River's Edge Crematory located in Joliet. River's Edge Crematory is a local cremation center serving several area funeral homes.

The crematory is within the Tezak Funeral Home facility. At the time of passing, your loved one is transferred from the place of death directly to the crematory care center. This offers families the peace of mind that their loved one is never transferred to another facility and there will never be a question of where your family member is located.
